This is the Innocenti type rod change gear lever .

Dellorto FZD 32.28
Carbs from Portugal. Rebuild kit from Germany. Blasted, ultrasonic, zinc plating and rebuilt in Crawley :D
Thanks to Graeme and Rex for the SU vacuum take-offs.

30.24s and 32.28s. Will try both sizes on rolling road to see what suits the engine spec the best.

Engine dyno'd and shell back from paint shop.
Smaller 30.24 carbs suited engine spec the best.
First job was to put some easy bolt on shiney bits to see what it looks like...then the proper work starts.
Brake/fuel lines, subframes and loom.

Looking great !!

Not seen one of these for years

Me and my boss converted one from left to right in the 80's I remember it took less than a day to carry out.

It was a a plastic bumper one, your one is nicer with the chrome bumpers.
The best repairs go un-noticed

Fantastic rebuild,nice to see some of the re-engineering of some of the BL parts.Looking forward to more updates.

Finally done!
Making all the mods look like they should be there has been a real task, the biggest probably being the servo. Had to change/modify about a dozen separate parts to fit it.
Couple of thousand miles done now. Loving it!
Made a couple of small changes. Had red dot cones all round, but have put std ones in rear and softened off Koni dampers. Ride and handling greatly improved.
