As a non registered guest you have only limited access to the MK1 forum, this is to encourage you to join up. Once you register you will get full access to all the sub boards detailed below, you will be able to search the whole forum & historical posts, be able to send & receive messages to other members & a whole lot more. Registration couldn't be easier if you follow these simple rules.

1) When joining please ensure that your username has something to do with your interests, eg. mk1minifan, fred1275 or USA-850 this helps me identify if you are a human or a spam bot when activating membership.

Due to the ever increasing number of Spam applications (Currently running at over 100 per day) It is even more essential that you follow the above advice.

If your IP address or email address appear on ANY spam monitoring sites - You will not be activated & your IP will be blocked.
If your username is an apparently random mix of letters & number - You will not be activated & your IP will be blocked.
If your email address ends in .ru - You will not be activated & your IP will be blocked.
If your email address ends in .ua - You will not be activated & your IP will be blocked.
If your username is a name followed by a couple of random letters or numbers - You will not be activated & your IP will be blocked.
If your email address ends in "yandex.com" - You will not be activated & your IP will be blocked.

2) If you really want to join the forum & your membership hasn't been activated within 48 hours of you applying, please contact me via e-mail to mark@mk1-forum.net to tell me, this way I can sort any problems you may have.

I spend a huge amount of time keeping the forum Spam free & working correctly, following these simple rules will ensure it continues to run smoothly. Unfortunately, as I spend so much time filtering spam membership applications, it is inevitable that I will occasionally ban & block a genuine membership application, this is not a personal slight it is a consequence of the vast amount of spam applications I receive each day & in some cases inability to follow the simple requests made above.

Above all the MK1 performance Conversions forum is a friendly international forum where all views are welcomed in an atmosphere of mutual respect.

I hope to see you soon.

Thanks Mark F
