I have been looking for the chromed bezel that fits under the heater and/or choke cable against the instrument panel.
I can't find a part number or illustration in any manual.
They must be extremely rare; or it is assumed every mini has them?
If anyone has any leads, I would appreciate the information.

I've never seen that part. I like the idea. If Googling for them you may want to also try the keywords "plinth", "base", or "ferrule". The term "bezel" is usual applied to a part that holds glass.

If no one has any of the parts I am sure you could have someone machine a set for you. They would not be difficult to make from aluminum. Stainless steel would take only a tiny bit more effort.

That part was never fitted to UK spec cars.

Aussie Bill, I will try and get a price to have some made (using the one in the photo as a sample). I would look at steel then chrome, rather than stainless. Do know if anyone else is looking for these babies?

From the replies already, it seems that these bezels, ferrules, washers, whatever, must be an Aussie thing only.
It might be a one-off for someone with a lathe and time on their hands!
PM sent.
