Just sorting through some of what I’ve collected and noticed that I have a pair with 21 splines which also appear to be approx .080” smaller in dia than the std 23 spline ones that fit my diff .
Everything else about them looks to be the same .
Anyone know what these are for ?
Cheers
Jeremy

Small update which might help ?
The splines are the same as a rubber coupling output but they would still need the 420 style of cover .

They sound like flanges from the late hardy spicer autos.
They fit to pot joint output shafts in the same fashion as a pot joint. You still need S side plate bushes.
If you're thinking of selling let me know as I run these output flanges and one of mine is a bit pitted and leaking slightly.

I'd be interested in these as well if your selling.

Thanks Iain that makes sense
Are these also referred to as knock ons ?
Yes they will be for sale but only after I inspect them at work next week .
They look to be in great condition and I’ve spun them up on a battery drill with scotch but I would like to mic up the Bush dia as it looks amazingly to good and I wonder whether it’s been skimmed ?
Iain has first dibs for £50.00 if they are not undersize , I would hope to get more on fleabay so have applied forum discount
Will keep you posted

Thanks Jeremy, they look in great condition, much better than mine, I'll have them if they measure up ok.
They probably are known as knock ons as they just thump on over the circlip as per a pot joint. I use the pot joint removal tool to pop them off again.

Have measured around them tonight Iain and they look spot on .
4 tenths of a thou under 1 3/8 and dead parallel :D .
You might want to replace the studs as some have flats on them , ive got a 5/16 die somewhere ( must be at work ) as I could not find it at home yesterday so will see what they clean up like .
Will sort payment and despatch with you after ive found the die
Cheers

If your really stuck for a pair then it might be worth contacting Iain as he might have a spare set now but obviously only he can answer .
Many thanks

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the update.

Hi Iain,
Would you be interested in selling your old pair?
