Looking for an excellent, original (not re-skinned) Mk1 or Mk2 R/H door.

Bit of a long shot I know.... plenty of L/H doors about but R/H pretty scarce.

I have a genuine door skin to skin my door if necessary but much prefer original un-messed doors.

Anyone ?

I don’t think mine have been skinned, any obvious tell tales?

Unless they have been really well done and with original skins it’s not usually too difficult.

Post up some pics or or PM me :)

Purely out of curiosity - why is it so much easier to find a LH door in the U.K. than a RH door? You think they rust at the same rate!

Agreed, and you'd think the L/H door that is in the gutter all the time and gets more s**t on it would rot quicker. :? :?

But, fact is R/H doors are more difficult to find for whatever reasons

Altough the N/S of a mini generally rots quicker, the o/s door gets on average 80% more use, resulting in fatigue cracks, dents, chipped paint and general wear&tare.
Resulting in a higher replacement % and a subsequent lack of second hand doors.

Maybe that's why someone in Canada has several good R/H doors from LHD cars :?
