Was wondering if anyone on here has any experience of the SP44 Dunlop as sold by the likes of Vintage tyres?

Yes, I have a set on my mk3. Great in the snow. Very reasonable on dry tarmac. Cope well with wet roads when you really would not be pushing it anyway but... Damp roads beware.

Agree with daerg1275, had them on the car for Rally of Tests last year - brilliant on gravel, lively on tarmac, especially damp. Lots of wheel spin (which might have been the driver) but entertaining in corners!
