I know there is a thread on this subject...just cannot find it.
I had posted about these rivets and screws that are used on the MK2 style rear quarter windows.

Have not been able to source the screws but I have found the exact rivets. Luckily, have some good screws from a couple of old frames.

Just completed the restoration of my late 67 S windows. I used a bicycle inner tube for a gasket...worked perfectly. Here are some pictures of the rivets...the finished product and source information.

Source for the rivets.....https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25-STAINLESS ... %7Ciid%3A1

Inner tube is on the attached picture. Need one tube for each window...cost about $6.50 each.....just cut it up the center and inserted into the frame. After the frame is screwed back together..... trimmed off the excess rubber.
Prefer this approach as the replacement rubbers are extremely difficult to get into the frames...especially where the hinges are fitted.

Used extra fine wet and dry and finished off with Autsol polish.
Very happy with the outcome.

If you want to save a few bucks, go to any bicycle store, I wager they will give you as many old tubes as you need!
Nicely done

Thanks...I did go to a bike store...the really thin inners are more $$ than regular tubes....still....not bad $13.00 for both windows as Somerford charge 8.50 pounds per rubber.
