Seeking opinion on these original recliners. I am debating having them recovered using some NOS brocade I have here.
The seats are in need of cleaning...a couple of tears but otherwise OK. What would you guys do??? Leave them or do a resto. using some original gold brocade?
The brocade that is there right now has lost some of the gold...would need to be redone using a gold pen.

Guess it depends on the shininess rest of the car but I'd be inclined to repair and restore but not re-cover.

Give them a good clean and use them as they are.

Those are incredible, Dermott.

Recliners (of any kind) rarely survive in such great shape - let alone in red/gold brocade! Another vote here to at least clean them up as much as possible, touch-up the gold paint and see the end result.

Yep, gold brocade BMC recliners are pretty rare...looks like I will be doing some cleaning and using the dreaded gold gel pen again...Oh dear...there goes my eyes again LOL!
