Have always thought there is a strange illusion that POA is something to attract any potential Buyer.?

In my experience, anything advertised as POA is because it is well overpriced and the seller is hoping for a rich idiot to come along and get hooked by salesman bulls**t.

As a matter of principal, I won't enquire about a POA advert.

If the seller can't be bothered to say how much they are wanting, why should I bother asking.

I have a real soft spot for these early GT's, that one is a bit of disappointment so many things wrong, even got a pic proudly showing the cover sills fitted

That shell probably started life as a mid '70s 12" wheel GT judging by the amount of later parts on it. And those seats, I guess you could describe them as having Mercedes Ruched Leather

He was asking £20k for it in 2010. I made him a very close offer back then and he told me there was a man local to him that gave him a blank cheque and told him to write in what he wanted for this car. He must have lost his pen. He is looking £60k for it now. It really is a good genuine Cooper S rally car but way over priced. The seller also has a Surf Blue Mk1 1275 Cooper S for sale which has an identity issue.
