At this point I can only think these parts are destined for cars being restored by businesses more used to restoring vintage Ferrari’s and Aston’s for customers who want it to be right at any cost.

There is something very wrong with that one. Claimed to be a mark 3 (early) but has a mark 1 chassis number? :?
