I agree with Andrew, took me ages to find one and had to settle for a 66 on my 68 cooper. Hopefully someone can help, if I spot anything on eBay will let you know

Thanks guys. I know it's just a number, I could have mine rebuilt to the correct advance curve, even if I found one I'd have it rebuilt anyway. However it's in the detail so I'm not in a hurry.

If you talk to the Distributor Doctor, he can 'fettle' your old distributor to look exactly like the correct one, down to the stamps and date.

I suppose the numbers can be ground off and restamped, for all the difference it makes that's probably the route I'll go.
