I’m thinking of taking part in this event if there is a vacancy at the end of January. Would I be able to bring XSC 805K a Vanden Plas 1300? The reason I would want to bring the Vanden Plas it is an Edinburgh car and spent most of its life in that area. It has a factory 1293cc Oselli Conversion and would keep up with Minis with ease. The Borders countryside is beautiful and the wife may join me as she is from that part of the world. :D

Of course you can!

Indeed, a certain Forum owner 'sullied' the event with an ADO16 last year and we were all still quite nice to him

Hehe, this is how it starts, ado16 's taking over. Unfortunately my boggo mk1 wolseley is as slow as the proverbial and would just get in the way. At least that's my excuse for driving like an old codger :D

Point taken, I just dread driving it down from Aberdeen then back again. The bit in the middle would be fine. God knows how I managed to Monaco and back in 96 in it. It's not the car but me that has dwindled over the years!.

Fixed that for you!

Just emailed the Tontine to see if they can accomodate us again (fingers crossed there are no big weddings booked that weekend)

Doune have just announced a 'classic' event on the same weekend if anyone fancies making a longer weekend of it. Trip to Doune on Saturday, run on Sunday?

If you've never been to Doune, have a look on youtube - it's king of the hills.
