Here we go again! I’m looking for a 3 synchro primary and idler gear to suit a 1071 190 gear box. Anyone have anything available?

I've a few A series primaries and idlers - what the difference between 3 synch and 4 synch for these?

Same length pin either side of the gear.

Mine are all unequal length shafts, so can’t help.

When I dismantled my 846 box, someone had done this to make a later unequal pin length gear fit..
Apparently it is possible to use the longer pin four sync idler with the right circlip
