ADO 16 Brake Master

Post by Fanfaniracing »

Hi Folks

I am looking for an ADO 16 Brake Master Cylinder.

Does anyone has one or maybe someone has the correct Number, or Picture?

I just know that they are looking like the Cooper S one, but are at a different Angle at the bottom..

Every help is much appreciated!

Different sized bore too Fabian

3/4 bore rather than 0.70 ;)

Dependant on model

I'll dig out the part number if you let me know what car its for :)

I have two NOS master cylinders. I am not sure of the bore sizes, but will find out later today.

It's a 1968 Vanden Plas Princess. 1275 engine with double HS2. Think like a MG 1300 GT or something like that...

Unfortunately someone mounted a Plastic reservoir Brakemaster from a mini.

A '68 VDP 1300 should have a brake master cylinder numbered 4222-138, which is a 3/4 bore NOT 0.70

As you say, same as MG1300, Riley Kestrel 1300 and 1300GT.

Not the same as the lesser ADO16's that have the more common 0.70 bore.

Fabian, unfortunately both my master cylinders have 0.70" bores.
