Lucas WFT576 securing nut

Post by coopertim »

Looking for a Lucas 576 rear facing lamp securing nut which secures the lamp to the inside of the boot. It looks to be 10-12mm but obviously it’s an imperial size and a fine thread. Any ideas / anyone got anything?

Thanks Tim

It's a Cycle Thread. Lucas used them on all their lamps.

Taps are readily available on ebay.

All you need to know is the width of the stud in question.

Found them
Mine are 7/16 brass / gas thread which are 26tpi , only difference to to cycle thread is 5 degree different on thread form .
They screw perfect on my Lucas spottys .
They are made from M10 stainless nut re-drilled and tapped out .
Do you need just the one ?
