Evening all, I’m currently searching for the following gears for my 1071 project

Laygear:
22G197

Input gear:
22G192

1st gear:
22A1021

2nd gear:
22G194

3rd gear:
22G195

Reverse:
22G202

Diff
3.66

Anyone have anything available?

Cheers Tim

Reverse:
22G202
I bought mine used from guessworks. http://www.guess-works.com/Shop/Parts/d ... htm?id=403

1st gear:
22A1021
I bought mine new from Minispares. https://www.minispares.com/product/Classic/22A1021.aspx

But those gears go with the 22G204 hybrid A/B or B type gear sets.

Don’t think you can use them with a 22G197 A type laygear, as they won’t mesh properly (the tooth profile is different, but the pitch is the same. If you try to use them, the teeth will probably shear)

Does your mainshaft have 11 or 10 splines for the 3/4 synchro hub?

That was my thoughts about the 197 laygear too Ian .

With an A type laygear you’d need the earlier 1st/2nd gear hub assembly and a ‘377 reverse gear.
