Dry Speedwell anti rollbar brackets

Post by Nevsmini »

Hi Lads,
I’m after a pair of brackets for a dry Speedwell anti rollbar, if anyone has any going spare or would be willing to copy ones they have for me I would be very grateful and would pay a good price and/or I would buy a complete kit.
Thanks
Nev

Sorry, I can't help.

I have only ever had Hydro Speedwell ARB's.

I’ve got a dry ARB at home. Will check tonight to see if the brackets are present.

That's Andrew, there seems to be more wet speedwell ARB's around than dry. I have all the parts other than those 2 brackets that are mounted to the back plate and bottom shock mount.

Andrew, have a look at yours and see what you have - failing that i have a dry Speedwell ARB on the rear of my Mk1 race Marcos - the bar is straight across the back and doesn't have the kink in it but the fixings look the same.
I'll try to have a look under it this evening if it isn't too cold in the garage when I get back from work.

Gary

In fact found some old photos on the laptop, hopefully the right bit?
If you have a fitting instruction for the ARB wouldn't mind a copy as I think mine might be missing a couple of bits as well.

Lads I really appreciate your help on this. Yes Gary that’s the very same. I could be wrong but I believe the dry bar that is straight across the back is the pre 65 version but the brackets are identical.

Nev, I couldn't find them this evening - I seem to recall getting some brackets with it though but put them away :(

I'll have a good look on Friday afternoon unless you get help elsewhere beforehand.

Thanks Andrew, I believe I have some wet speedwell ARB brackets that I will not need. I’ll dig out what I have tomorrow might be of use to someone.

Hello Nev,
I can have a go at getting these off the Marcos at the weekend if Andrew can't find his.
Depends on how much time I'm allowed in the garage instead of decorating!
Cheers
Gary
