Good Mk3

Post by GraemeC »

I’m putting feelers out for a good, solid Mk3. Needs to be roundnose, not clubman.
Spec not important but bodyshell condition is. As complete as possible and needs V5.

Would also look at Mk1 or 2 but I’m thinking for similar money a Mk3 will be a better car.

GraemeC, getting hold of a good early Mk3 is a tall order. I've two friends looking for both early roundnose and clubman cars with no luck. I honestly think you will find Mk1 or Mk2s easier to pick up. Look at the way 1275 GTs have shot up says it all.

Good luck, hope you find a nice Mk3 :)

This one has been for sale for a while, looks like a nice tidy car.

Thanks Stuart - that does look a good tidy example. Maybe too good for what I want!

With all respects to Stuart and Graeme the photographs are misleading regards KMY 673K. A friend went over to view KMY 673K and was totally disappointed. He described it as being a very rough badger in every respect. The same man is a body worker / painter and would know his stuff. KFF 586H that Alex on this forum has for sale looks a better car and a much earlier model. I will tell my friend about this being for sale. Being automatic will be no problem as he has a complete 1293cc manual unit built and ready to go. The same bloke has changed a number of automatics to manual. :D
