Does anyone have a spare bonnet catch lower part, the bit with the bar on, for some reason my mk2 has a mk1 type and it’s a little awkward to open. I only need the bit with bar ideally as the rest is same and have restored mine ready to fit.

Daz,

I saw one the other day and thought 'thats not Mk1 as it has the extra bit on it' but cant find it now ....

It might have been at the place I'm hoping to clear out on Friday so it you can wait, I'll look there.

If you get another offer in the meantime, take them up on it just in case I cant find it

Thanks, I am in no rush as car won’t be used till spring and the mk1 one will do for now, so if you do find it let me know.
