I have the following parts for sale:
1) 1275 pre A+ engine (just stripped) all standard and looks to be in good condition. May go again with rings and a crank polish or a nice basis for a performance build to first over/undersize. Complete with std valve flat top head, flywheel and clutch and Purolator filter. £375 (SOLD)
2) ‘Project head’ – 11 stud head which I started to port in the Des Hammill way. Tracts and throats opened out, guide bosses removed, some work started on chamber shaping. I took hours on this and think I’ve done a decent job – no pushrod break through. Complete with valves and double springs. Needs completing – nice ‘winter nights’ project. £125
3) Tin rocker covers – 1 with angle breather £20. One with vertical breather and tin cap (Sprite?). £35
4) Pre A+ 1275 primary gear. £50
5) 1128 gearbox (AD016), complete (part stripped). Case looks good, some of the dog teeth are worn, 3.65 diff. £125
6) Set of high compression A+ series pistons, used but very little wear evident, no rings. £30
7) Wavy grille – 'original' as far as I can tell, very nice condition. £65 (SOLD)
8) Mk1 headlining frame with modern black lining. £50 (SOLD)
9) Mk1 rear screen, good £50
10) Mk1 rear quarters lights (pair), not piano hinge – stainless? Decent condition but seals needs attention/replacement and a bit of rust on the external catch bracket. £175
11) Mk1 front door glass set, one piece has been etched. £35
12) Set or iron door hinges, blasted and in etch primer, reasonable but could do with re bushing. £40 (SOLD)
13) MS grille whiskers, unused. £10 (SOLD)
14) MS Speedwell Cobra seats complete with sub frames, used for 50 miles - as new condition. £300
15) Mk1 wiring loom (front and rear) from ‘66 car, needs work but has some good parts, bulb holders etc.– spares or repair. £40
16) Door pull - chafing to plastic casing at one end otherwise good. £15 (SOLD)
Small parts can be posted at cost. Glass and big parts pick up only or I may be able to get them to Notts area mid to late December.
