I have a vortz inlet manifold that I picked up years ago, can't remember where, it's in one of the boxes in the garage somewhere, a nice bit of kit and very simple with a pair of castings with a bonded link pipe. The problem is that I don't have a Vortz car to put it on!

Alot of people were pretty underwhelmed about the new Rover Mini Cooper when it was introduced (me included) and were labelled purists but actually all we wanted was something like the cars Vortz made, ie something as special as the original Cooper/S. Look forward to seeing your car at Blyton Nick!

Thanks for putting the photos up Stuart, cracking shots as always.

I'd always wanted a Formula R since I first saw them on the Cooper Car Co 84 stand at Mini 30 Silverstone back in 1989, it only took me 26 years to realise the dream !

Thanks to Mark Simpson (Simmo on here) for selling me TAM as a project a couple of years back.

Hopefully I will get it to Blyton this year.

Cheers

Nick :D

Hopefully you're at Blyton with the Vortz, Nick.

Those Dunlops on TAM look very familiar Nick! Hope to see you at Blyton.

A bit more Vortz stuff.
Price lists from the summer of 1989.
