Minifin rocker cover

Post by Alex »

I've acquired what appears to be a genuine Minifin rocker cover in a box of treasure - both the seller & I thought it was a Metro one...
It's been painted Primula Yellow to match his old car, and I haven't scratched much of it off for fear of hurting the casting, basically enought to see the name.

Could the hive mind confirm that this is a real Minifin please, before I label it up in the box of Autojumble for whenever the season finally gets going.
Any hints on price range gratefully accepted (or PMd offers) as I'm not going to be using it.
Is it worth getting it blasted ?

That looks like an original to me. As for value I would guess £50ish, maybe more if stripped of paint.

I had one that had the breather hole and breather connection fitted.

Thank you all - it's now in a box with a label on it.
