BAD 701B Where are you?

Post by Kimmy »

Hi everyone. My name is kim and I am looking for a mark 1 850 mini with reg number BAD 701B. This used to belong to my mother some time ago and I helped in the restoration of this car in the mid 90's and again helped get it back on the road in early 2000. It was sold due to personal circumstances in early 2000. The car was missed by everyone but mostly my mum.
My mum passed away just over 2 years ago so the hunt is on for this car as a present for my father as a reminder of my mother.

Crazy? maybe but this car has personal and family significance and no matter what condition it is in I would love to find it for him.

Thanks for listening.

What about writing a letter to the DVLA together with the fee and asking them to send the letter on to the registered keeper. They did it for me several years ago when I wanted the keeper of a superbly restored Green Goddess to send me a photo shown in a magazine, to use as my screen-saver. Screen saver now a Norton Commanndo, but I've still got the Beford Green Goddess filed

But don't tell them that you want to buy the car. Tell them that you know a lot of its history - which is true!
