Registration help, again

Post by wantafaster1 »

Sent off new keeper slip which they won't process without v62.

Can't fill in v62 as don't know chassis number, no access to the full logbook anymore. Will there be anything stamped on the bulkhead? 1964 Austin 850.

It's for competition use.

How to proceed with this, block has just been to machine shop and thought that covid was delaying the logbook.

If it’s on the dvla system you can locate the vin via a good hpi checker.

Based on recent experience both on this forum and personal expect a DVLA inspection where they will want to photograph the engine number..... etc

Sorry for reopening an old thread.

Can I ask which HPI checker was used to locate the VIN? A friend has exactly the same problem on a 1980 1275 Gt. The reg is live on the DVLA database but he needs it to apply for the logbook.

Thanks
