What keeps the windows open? One of mine is lazy and shuts as soon as I drive. The other happily stays open. I have no clue what to adjust / replace / tighten to keep it open. So bloody annoying!

Some great ideas in this thread, thank you!
Excellent idea, it would push out from one end quite easily if needed, and gravity/friction will keep the pin in from the top.
Thanks Mark, so just regular brass rod! In lieu of the original style pin, that should work just great. I'll order some material.mk1 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 12:23 pmhttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K-S-Round-Im ... SwLVZVm8mS
Interesting idea there, and I'm surprised to see an SIP link here. I could order parts for my Lambretta while I'm at it!MiNiKiN wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 9:24 amIf you want to play safe and deviate slightly from originality:
A) drill the shaft for an M3 thread (i.e. w/ a 2.5mm drill bit) on a lathe and fit an M3 allen dome head screw after assembly
B) drill the shaft for one of those hammer-in rivets as used on the engine number tag and fit the rivet after assembly (this rivet should fit: https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/prod ... +_17462900
