Car did eventually sell to the high bidder, after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, and a bit of arm wrestling....

For a bit more than the high bid....

Funny story to the sale, one guy that came over to see the car, about half way through the visit, started looking at, and, asking questions about his 91 daily driver Mini......Long story short, he ended up buying that one instead.......

So, now, the owner is Mini-less....... :o :P :lol: :mrgreen:

One thing I noticed was there were no stickers on the valve cover, not even the square BL sticker found on the later black engines. Is this normal for late Mk II/early Mk III 1275s?
