Barrie Williams' A35 is up for sale on Bring A Trailer.
Looks like a very nice car.
There's also some nice pictures of him, his wife and dog etc.

What a cracking little car!

I wonder how it ended up over the big sea?

What a wonderful little car that is. I bet that's a joy to drive.

Are these good value for your money. I'll guess we will find out.
Cheers Dicky.

They are very good value for money compared to a Mini, but they are a far more primitive design & can be a bit of a handful if over powered.

I don't think that one looks over powered.

So many memories of my first car. An A35 - never raced or rallied. :D So many happy times. Compete in sprints and road rallies, break, repair, restore - repeat, several times! Still miss it.

Beautiful example of a truly classic and underrated car. My parents bought one of the last production in June 1959 and kept it for 5 years. They used it for daily trips and weekend camping. My father made storage boxes that fitted under the bonnet for some of the camping gear as well as some tools. It was Sky/Baby Blue SUH449. I spent many holidays sat in the back on top of sleeping bags.

Really fancy this but it’s creeping up. With shipping currently it’d be about £14k! Similar cars go for about a third of that if not less over here but then it’s Whizzos.. 8-)
