Indoor fitted cover recommendations

Post by g111mds »

Hi, just looking to see if anyone has a recommendation for an indoor fitted cover for a Mini saloon?

Thanks, Jamie

;What did you end up buying Jamie ?. You commented on my Mini30 on the Scottish Elises forum, twigged it was you on here. Did you find a decent Mk1 ?

A small world! I’ve left a deposit on a Mk1 which I’ll be collecting as soon as lockdown is lifted. Really nice car, and looking forward to it arriving. There’ll be plenty of driving choice in the garage this year :)

These from the Mini Cooper Register (MCR) are good for the price:-

Same here, I have a Hamiltons cover on all of the cars. They're not tailored as such but great quality.

I was going to suggest the Supertex cover we use on our cars, only to find out the UK distributor is Hamilton so they're probably the same ones. We got ours from a chap who goes round the tradeshows here in NL. They fit the cars quite snugly, the one for the Mini even has mirror pockets.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

I use these on all my cars. Outdoor, but breathable & have proven to be very good over many years. Can even be machine washed.

When I was after one a few years back I asked on here and someone recommended https://www.specialisedcovers.com/prestige/

They are not cheap, but fits the mini like a glove, had mine for about 8 years now and no issues at all.
