This type of thing became common during the 1960s. This was supplied new attached to a late 1960s Morris Mini :)

I am also wondering what a 60s-70s period correct tax disc holder would look like. I am trying to restore my car to what it was in that era. IS it basically a plastic bubble that would temporarly stick to the window? OR a sheet of round plastic?
Thanks

Just had a thought. If it was a "public utility" vehicle in 1964 was it "tax exempt?"
Cliff
They would have been tax exempt but still required to display a valid tax disc.
