I'm not a vegan, but it's something worth supporting. We shouldn't really be eating animals in 2020. We shouldn't also be supporting the car industry which is now completely out of control. How many cars were produced in 2019? Far, far too many. I've advocated a huge reduction in car manufacture for years. A good car should last over twenty years, but most of what's being made now is complete shit, especially German stuff and MINI crap. It's time we started buying cars to last and run them into the ground until they're completely knackered. A BMW 328i from 2013 shitting its engine after 45'000 miles and the manufacturer telling the owner to basically piss off is NOT acceptable.

On a lighter note, this Sheffield tram has been unofficially named the Schofield Express:

As I have said before, I preferred Gordon Murray when he stuck to making Trumpton & Camberwick Green.

It's a Johnny Cab ... to anyone who has seen the original Total Recall

Future classic ... now that really makes me laugh when people say 'What modern cars will be the classics of the future.' Well, as static exhibits, quite a few I'd think. As cars that we can work on and will be able to be repaired or get spares for ... a big fat ZERO

Grant Shapps says the date for petrol/diesel ban is 2032, so we are down to 12 years now.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/0 ... secretary/

It just goes to show that none of the people running the country have any idea what needs to be done and what can be done and just blurt things out to try and please the activists.

And in the real world Birmingham has announced it is going to delay the introduction of its Clean Air Zone for the second time because there are glitches in the governments on-line vehicle checker. So as the government can not get a web page work what chance do we have with anything else working.

Who knows I might get to 5000 posts by the time all the crap is over!
