Hi

I think I may be able to find an advert in a programme from a Plymouth motor club event in the 60's. I will look over the weekend.

Out of interest just restoring a 1967 S supplied through them in Exeter on the heritage certificate but purchased from an Prout's, Austin dealer in Launceston, Cornwall and Cornish registered. Know this is correct as recently spoke to the mechanic that did the PDI. Think Pike's were distributors in Exeter, In Plymouth they were Jaguar dealers, A C Turner's were the Austin dealers

Cheers Malcolm

Pikes in Plymouth were only Austin dealers, not distributors but they were Riley distributors.

A C Turner were the Austin distributors and Barton Motor Co were the Morris distributors in Plymouth.

Hi

Thanks for the image...great... Looks like it may have been distributed via Exeter ( as per heritage cert) but sold by Prouts Garage Launceston who were Austin dealers...

Derbyshire Motors were the Morris and Wolseley distributors for Derby and were located in Derwent Street. They became part of the Kennings group in the late 1960's or early 1970's which later became Wadham Kenning. The below picture is from 1991.
