MK1 heater

Post by Robinmk1 »

Does this look correct for a MK1 Morris Mini 61? Is it a part that has a dated stamped anywhere?

Thanks Nick. Needs refurbishing as the fan vibrates badly and I suspect a small leak as the screen mists up when on and hot.

The fan may have lost a blade. It happens. Or the shaft may be bent causing the vibration.

I’m guessing you may have the usual spares if required :-)

The heater date is usually on the Smiths label, month/year.

That's the case on the later models, on the earlier models its printed on to the housing of the fan. Usally in white and on 63 models I've seen it in red
