Just enjoy it!
Looks like a solid enough base, what are your plans for it?

I'd love to see all these original Mk1 Ss in their original shells with original engines, Ive not seen too many in all the years ive been messing about with 'em. It was a bloody cheap buy off Ebay, then bought and flipped instantly but you still got a 'cheap' car relative to most you see for sale. Fairly local to me so I'll see what I can find out.

Thanks Pete

It was the same seller on eBay as classic car website . I think it was a international buyer on eBay and for whatever reason the sale didn’t come through. So I contacted the seller via eBay . Great to deal with I’m very happy with the purchase.

Cheers Jabez

Looks like a good starting point, lots of people like the 1071 but I think the 1275 is a better road car. If it’s missing the interior why keep it stock, the factory seats aren’t comfy.

Good luck with the project, and I'd pm Bri if I were you as the 1071 motors don't come up all that often, and those that do might take some work!

There are a few of us 1071 owners on here - though many are still in 'project' status!!!
