Hi

I’ve just purchased a 1964 1071 S . Is there anyway to find out it’s previous history ?

It’s a shame DVLA won’t give information out anymore

Cheers all

Probably like most racers (works cars :?) used up over the years.
That doesn’t make it a bad project it’s just not one for the rivet counters!

Before the haters start .lol :D :D

Yes the engine at some point in its life was upgraded to a 1275 s motor

The manifold / wiper motor / original colour / motor parts numbers / s trim parts that were left / original s badges / wheels/ brake parts/ glass / correct oil cooler . Dates matched up on all the associated parts

I was told the engine was upgraded at a point in its life . So nothing was hidden on that front .

And the car does have all the signs of some race/rally history

Looking forward to getting started and this forum to help out on the missing parts needed

Cheers all
