BLOCKLEY TYRES WIN RAC RALLY OF THE TESTS

Post by SMOKE GREY »

I know we have a thread elsewhere on these, but after using a set of the 1657010 prototypes back in April on 6 EMO running as course car I decided to use them last week on the RAC.

Well, we have had every road condition imaginable , wet, dry, icy, snow, mud and gravel, broken concrete and everything in between! All our competitors run modern pattern rally tyres whereas in ten inch there is nothing. We didn't have a single puncture and they proved a good all round tyre. I can't think of a better advert, so if you were wondering if they are all right.. ;)

I think Blockleys are going to wonder why they'd not done this earlier!

I checked out their website and they ship globally on a daily basis. Looks like it is time to order some tires.
Wonderful to have another option for our Minis in regard to tyres. We have only a few types available here in the States in regards to 145 size.

Just been perusing the exciting new Blue Book, as you do... ;)

The Blockleys are on List 1A for 2020, so could be a handy alternative to 008s for anyone restricted to 1A.
