Shorrock Mini Inlet Manifold

Post by Sprite »

Just testing water here…

I make and supply parts and manifolds for Shorrock superchargers A series, MG T Series etc , some of my customers are from this forum.

I supply pulleys, trunnions, seals, bearings, oil connection kits, fitting kits and some hard to get manifolds which I have had recast from new patterns.

I have had several inquires recently about the Shorrock mini inlet manifold, so I am considering having the Mini inlet manifold pattern made from an original I have and some recast.

Before I do I’d like to test the water on the market as the patterns are expensive.

Please PM me if you are interested, no commitment of course.

Thanks Keith

PS I run 3 cars with Shorrock kits fitted (not minis I’m afraid) so I don’t just sell parts :D

Keith,

I would be interested in one of these, I have one but my brother is soon to embark on a Shorrock conversion and that's one of the bits we need.

I don't suppose we could tempt you to make the lower mounting standoff that goes from the lower blower bracket to the timing gear? I need two of these, only ever seen one in the wild.

I’d be interested ( broadly subject to price ) e.g. kinda sub 100/150 or so.

I’ve spoken to maniflow recently and they could make them but we’d need a pattern.

Hi Keith,

I can vouch for the quality of your parts & have bought a few recently.

I would be interested in a manifold as long as it was correct. I had one on my Traveller & it certainly makes fitting them easier.

Please keep us posted.

The bits above are indeed for a Mini type A Series, but as usual the inlet manifold is missing.

Any view on this little hoard? Seller doesn’t take questions... so we can’t get part numbers

Not that I know of. I’ve had maniflow make me a custom lcb that hugs the block it could be just about enough to get clearance with the stock manifold well shaved... but tbf im making my own inlet

The issue with using a standard inlet is that the blower hits the bonnet.
