Cosmics.... Don't know how they fix but couldn't you make/turn a set fro round alloy bar if you have some idea of the original shape. What colour is that? Black Tulip?

This Sunday I have to pedal my Cooper S hard enough to make sure it wins both timed runs to win the Gurston class championship. Presently I am tied on points with a rapid MG Midget.

This week I are mostly drilling & punching holes in things.

On a bit of a lightening mission for the new hillclimber.

I suppose I could get some caps made up somewhere Peter. Colour is called 'Barossa', it's a modern pearlescent shade and pops nicely in the sun. Looks almost black in the garage with the door shut! Early on I was going to go with Aston Martin Dark Cherry which I saw on a Gordon Keeble GT, but then the Mrs. saw this colour on another car so we went for that instead.

Thinking about colours for my next Mini project if I get one and decide to change the colour, Rolls Royce Regal Red maybe, or a nice deep bronzey gold. The BMC colour chart is nice, I like all the Mk1, Mk2 and early Mk3 choices but I like something different.

Just finished modifying the rear radius arm shafts as per first post. The depth of the hardening made it a bit more difficult to drill through but got there. Will fully assemble up both assemblies ready to fit on later today. Overalls stinking of cutting oil and paraffin bath. Credit where credit is due, good quality arms from Minispares

Taken Redshed down to the dolly blue classics meet and snarfed a serious sausage bap. Bit fluffy at low revs but absolutely epic over 3krpm.

Just spent £250 fitting the Yokos! On the car this afternoon, next job is fitting some new bright trim to the sill / arches...

Does anyone have any recommendations for rechroming the Elf / Hornet bodyside trim pieces I found the other day...? They're in good nick, not bent or dented but have surface rust and some pitting.
