 Does someone knows where this boss came from ?
It has 48 slines and a splinehole of 18mm ( Mini fitting).
In the centre will fit the Mk3 badge.

Kees.

Nobody has a clue ? Could be from an MG build
from 1962 till 1969 (same spline size).
But there must be someone who knows ?
Austin 1800 ? Austin/Morris 1100/1300 ?

Cheers, Kees

The shape makes me think it’s not MGB or Mini as both have steering column cowls and I’d expect the bottom of the boss to be bigger to tie in with that. What about MGA they’ve got no cowl.

Well I did do some more research and
found some more cars where is would
fit on. Yes MGA, ALLEGRO, MARINA,
METRO, ITAL, MONTEGO, TR7.

This is a classic looking boss so MGA
the one it must be.

Cheers, Kees
