Hi,

Just out of curiosity, have you checked out the new gold brocade of Newton?

I attach some pictures of a sample and also a compare with a genuine sample I got.

A great improvement in my opinion. :)

Cheers!

Nuno Moita

Newton Commercial had a stand at Beaulieu this year and were displaying their new trim samples. As you say, a big improvement over what was previously available.

Rumour has it that they've fixed up their grey fleck too, has anyone seen it recently?

Tim

Sent Newton a pair of genuine original mk1 rear cards so they can get their reproduction backing card size correct .. then the new Newton Card will fit into that top channel without a struggle .. Jonny Newton knows of the issue & is wanting to get his product correct .. D

I've just ordered the flat red early carpet from them - so fingers crossed.

Andy, if you can share after with a picture would be great [front and back].

I got some sample of carpet too. The colour is ok, but backing is weird, doesn't have hessian lookalike [as per original, pre-velvet type]. Other karvel carpet bits I have from other companies, does look very similar to original, but the colour is darker [in case of red].

Will do Nuno,

I have had an email today saying it might take a few weeks though? This is what it says:

"Thank you for the order. Your order has been received and actioned. The production of your interior parts may take up to 4-6 weeks and for complete seats and seat refurbishments up to 6-8 weeks."
