Hi David

I’m going to try and do Gurston in July.

Have you got A032R on your car? Do you have any clearance issues?

2006, 2007 was when I was running it as a 998cc Cooper which is how it left Longbridge, I've since given up trying to keep up with the Imps in the 1000cc class, even with over 100bhp from a 998 it wasn't possible so now running as a 1293cc Cooper S.

I think the 2011 Gold Cup was the year Barrie Williams overtook me through Druids like I was standing still, I didn't see which way he went after that!

Bottom end was basically Mini 7. Head was 12G295 with Cooper S inlets, which required the block pocketing, can’t remember exhaust sizes. Compression over 12:1 which goes through the oil way in the head so that requires re routing. MED scatter cam. Originally ran twin HS4 but they lacked airflow at mid rpm and got a flat spot so moved to DCOE which improved mid range but lost some at the top end.
