My pal Andy who works at Mini Spares North. It’s in my garage in trouble after numerous ‘unscheduled stops’ on our way back....

Ha, ha, Yup, the Yellow car is Andy's.

Rich is convinced I chose it to piss him off, as Andy also works at Minispares & Rich had been confidently predicting that he wouldn't make it all the way to Blyton on its first run out. As it turned out he was 1/2 right as it took Steve & Andy 4 hours to get back after numerous unscheduled stops due to minor mechanical issues.

I didn't have the heart to tell Rich that Pete chose the cars this year :o

Is the color on the YHL 466 Fiesta Yellow? Looks rather nice.

Hi Andreas,

So sorry to see your sad end to Blyton this year. I assume from the pic that a valve head parted company with the stem.

What an absolute bummer!

Contact me direct, I have something for you.

It is Fiesta Yellow, although Andy's version of it is a little more yellow than most. A very nice shade though.

Thank you Mark,

I does look nice indeed. Having new interior in Powder Blue/Gold Brocade, I'm stuck with the paint choice, hence my interest. Fiesta Yellow/Surf Blue are the ones to choose from, of course.
YHL shade would have been the winner, if it was original. Mind you - what shade it is- if you go to a paint shop to buy it?

Rgds
