Goodwood Revival are planning on having a huge display of 1966 or earlier Minis for this years Revival & have asked MK1 PC to help find a selection of really good cars.

So, If you fancy a weekend at Glorious Goodwood (Sept 13 - 15) and you have a car that you think may be of interest, drop me a line via email to mark@ecsleeds.com give a brief (2 or 3 line) description of your car, any history & a decent picture & I will forward your details on.

The criteria for eligible cars is as follows:

MUST BE PRE 1966

MUST BE A FACTORY MODEL & BE RECOGNISABLY MINI. (Sorry, no plastic fantastics).
This means, Saloons (all models), Travellers & Countrymen, Van, Pickup, Moke, Modded cars that are recognisably Mini, Minisprint for example, Fire engine conversions, wreckers, 6 wheeler's, Ice Cream vans, etc.

MUST be prepared to display your car around Goodwood for all 3 days of the event & prepared to take part in a DAILY drive round the circuit.

There will be no payment for this, and any details have yet to be finalised, but at worst you will get free admission to the revival for all 3 days.

Anyone interested, please contact me direct and make any submissions in a similar form to the example below. Anything else just becomes far too complicated.

Thanks, Mark F

I'd been planning to give the event a miss this year, but if I do go, I'm happy to accompany anyone on their parade laps.

Or drive their pre-production Elves in my role of designated driver...... (unless they have finished my Moke in time)

That's going to be very cool, sadly I have already booked tickets for all 3 days including Lavant Bank parking for the pickup, still I can wave as the mini's drive past from the back of the pickup with a beer/Champagne.
