Scrapped, Dumped, Neglected And Wrecked Classic Mini's

This appeared in the woods where I walk my dog a few years ago after a fire burnt away the undergrowth. I'd been walking within about 5 feet of it for years and didn't know it was there. It is gradually getting vandalised now it's been uncovered. The gear lever was there but has now been snapped off and the column and steering wheel was there too, but it's since disappeared. Looks like a pre 65 mk1 in red. Rubber suspension, coil spring clutch and single leading front shoes.

‘64 998 Cooper a mate of mine dug out (literally) of a garage early last year after a 40 odd year hibernation. The new owner is well on with the restoration.

I don’t think it ever made it to auction Pete, and it is still there. Knowing the owner, my guess is that it will be sat there for a while yet.....
