Typical of so many scrap yards in the 70s 80s and 90s.
Spent many happy hours plundering mini parts from old breakers. Such a shame that its mostly all gone now.

....amazing pics.. i used to go to car auctions in the early 70,s.. u could pick up a early mid 60,s Cooper for 200 quid !!!... basket cases for 75 !!!.. i bought my first Morris Cooper mk 2 for 450 quid if i remember !!!!.....on wages of 110 quid pm !!!!...foxy52

Had to go and buy a new battery for WMU the other day so I nipped down to our local mob at Autolec, got chatting about Minis with the old boys who run the place and one of them said his mate bagged a rotten 970 S for a tenner in 1970!
