Here's a tester for you all....

Have a look at these doors that are on eBay ... certainly made up for something ... but what ?

The seller has no idea and can't say I do either :?

Modified to fit a Mk1/2 shell?
Drilled for external hinges and a radius at the bottom

That was my initial thought but how would you get a mk3 door lock to fit a Mk1 b post ?

Wouldn't they still be a bit too tall to fit a Mk1 / 2 door aperture..?

That I can’t answer, but if I did try it I wouldn’t nail an extra inch on round the lock :-)

Modified to fit some kind of Kit car perhaps?
I seem to remember some versions of the Panther DeVille or the Beauford used Mini doors...but the extra bit added around the lock area is hard to explain.

I think so to they where modified to fit some kind of Kit car ;)

It's a real mystery to me, too.
I'm quite sure they are not Minus or Beauford though.
