We are really looking forward to this one, & the good news is that it looks like Adam & Girlfriend will be joining us too. So we will have 2 cars & 4 people.

Probably the 1300 & the Moke. We will fight it out who drives what depending on the weather

Dibs on a passenger seat for one part in the Moke if it's sunny :D

(I'm spreading the 'benefit' of my company around 'cause after a few hours Kev tires of my war of attrition  )

Well, that was fun!

I'll post up some photos tomorrow (all shoogly from the passenger seat, mostly)

Thanks to all who came along for a great day, and a fun evening on Saturday.

Special thanks to Ben and Kev for performing the chauffeur role!

What could be better, 7 hours on great roads with your mates, enjoying old minis?

We must do it again some time. :D

Thanks Al,

I really enjoyed today's run in the Scottish Borders, great company and you picked a superb route!

Please put me down for the Mk1 Perf. Conv. Road Run 2020.

Al,

Many thanks for a superb route. I thinks it's safe to say everyone enjoyed themselves.

Here's a link to a short video...

Ace! That's the promo video for next year sorted!

And just when my hearing had returned..... :D

What probably surprised me most was that, whilst that video looks like a full on blast, over the seven hours we were on the road, we all met up at each stop with little waiting, and the last car arrived back at Peebles no more than 10 minutes after the first, so the pace was really very consistent, so owners of 'slower' cars needn't be put off joining future events.

Still, the odd blast did clear the cobwebs!
