A 7 port aluminum head is available in the US....not the same as the one listed on E Bay...however, I have heard that the performance of these heads isn't much better than a typical 5 port set up.
The Alexander head may be a lot better than the US heads....anyone have experience with a 7 port engine!

The Alex 7 port was designed for a small bore A series engine. It did work very well on them & was certainly a big improvement over anything the factory came up with.

As I have said dozens of times before, these heads died a death because the factory came out with the large bore engine that was all round an improvement on ANY small bore unit.

The extra expense of an Alexander 7 port head could not be justified in period once the better large bore units were available.

Having said the above, the Alex 7 port works well on mildly tuned 1300's I used on on my Moke & the performance was surprisingly good for an otherwise bog standard engine.

The ebay one looked like a good buy as it came with 2 sets of rockers, these were always the heads Achilles heel.

The Alex head is nothing like any of the 7 port heads available today.
