Just watched an attempt on our KA on CCTV

Post by AndyPen »

Three young lads just over an hour ago - but I resisted the temptation to go out - just angry!!

So brazen, then they spotted the CCTV and left.

Quite possible as they tried the garage door too. I leave the KA in front of it.

Matey without the hood is identifiable, and has left a nice set of prints on your N/S rear 1/4 glass. If they were just looking to move the Ka, they may well return. 4 axle stands. Remove wheels and store elsewhere. Possibly chancers, but no disrespect - Ford Ka not my number 1 choice for a bit of Joyriding. Has it got RS3 badges on it?

Even with a full face shot I doubt whether the cops will be too interested. And once the social workers have had a chat with him prior to the formal police interview, he won't have been within 5 miles of your garage. In fact, he will probably have been on holiday in Majorka in'ni'.

If you're laying a new concrete floor in your garage any time soon, make sure that you implant a ring bolt somewhere under the car so that you can chain the car to the floor
