Who was the first manufacturer of the t bars for rocker cover?

I've never seen it in any tuners catalogue

Many thanks

Same thread, 5/16 unf. Hopkirk used to sell the same item in different packages with different contents to do either. You just got the same alloy button.

Yes, I know. they sold the buttons for both purposes. You just got extra nuts and screws for the grille.

The first rocker "T" bars I saw on an engine were in the 1980's. Not to say they weren't available long before though.

Having said that I have literally 100's of accessory catalogues & brochures from 1959 on & don't recall seeing them in any 60's brochures.

Out of interest, is that J HIPWELL and Son note on the bottom of the Arden car accessory leaflet related to our very own HIPWELL of this parish?
