This is about as much snow we get during Dec, Jan and Feb together!

Actually, we don't mind snow...we prefer it over the damp cloudy weather that the UK has......we are in the foothills of the Rockies Alberta just north of the US border (Canada). Our climate is extremely dry...hence the reason why we have so many old classic cars here....little rust!
We are also geared for snow...lots of equipment etc.
This sudden dump of the white stuff caught everyone off guard....too early. Will be gone in a couple of days.
Downside....can't really drive the classics during the winter months.

Dermott,

Early autumn here in Northern Ireland like you in North America. The northern hemisphere is lovely at this time of the year.

I got my grass cut today and heading to our final classic show this Saturday at Ballynahinch close to your homeland.

Photographs of my place in Crossgar today :D :D :D :D

Alan

Ken,

Why don’t you visit us next August at the Causeway Coast Mini Weekend? I can guarantee you will be made most welcome. As you know next year is a big one for the Mini. Northern Ireland as a region is full of historic Minis and BMC cars I’m pleased to say.

I would be happy to meet up with you at the ferry terminal and show you all around.

The downside is the weather in mid August tends to spoil things more than often.

You may even enjoy a wee pint of Guinness as well :D :D :D

Alan

Aah indeed Alan...you also live in a very beautiful place...I do remember the area around the 'Hinch...although a bit vague as it was a long time ago.
Perhaps it's time to make a trip back to the old sod to see if I have any skeletons still there LOL! Take in a vcar show at the Slieve!!!!
Cheers
Dermott
